Harkrishan Sahib Ji, the 8th Guru of Sikhs -The greatest teacher of humanity.
It has proved worthy of His great and revered name. In the year 1980, with the
blessings of Waheguru and S.Gurdial Singh Dhillon, Principal/ Director Guru Harkrishan
Public School, India Gate, New Delhi was initially started upto 2nd standard.
In 1987 the Society was registered to run the school on public lines. In 1990
the land was acquired and the first phase of the building was completed. In 1993,
the school was affiliated with the C.B.S.E. upto 10th standard. In 1995 it was
upgraded to 10+2 level for (Non. Medical, Medical, Commerce and Arts). In 1997
Information Technology was introduced in 11th and 12th to enable the students
